Nevada Trail

When I first had the idea to walk across Nevada, I had a few places in mind that I wanted to reach. In researching for this adventure however, I found very little information that was helpful. I settled for exploring the state firsthand in advance and over the course of several trips made during 2009 to 2011, formulated a route. In 2012, I completed most of it but then ran into snow unexpectedly once I'd made it to the Ruby Mountains. I returned later and finished my crossing, then in 2016, completed the Nevada Trail a second time as a continuous journey. This video documents the initial crossing which was made by resupplying from towns plus a few caches that I had buried during my reconnaissance hikes.
